Laboratory of Analysis and Architecture of Systems
Website: http://www.laas.fr

The Laboratory of Analysis and Architecture of Systems (LAAS) is a CNRS research unit. LAAS’ research activities fall within the domain of IST and address complex, heterogeneous systems at different scales, to devise theories, methodologies and tools for modeling, designing and controlling them. The lab collaborates strongly with international, national and regional industries of all size.
The research interest covers broader range of topics, however the most important nwhiciactly relevant here is Micro and Nanosystems (MINAS) covering modeling and simulation of micro and nanosystems, MEMS/NEMS and MOEMS, RF and microwave systems, systems and devices for energy management, nanophotonics and photonic integration, Bio MEMS and nanobiosystems, modeling and simulation of micro and nanosystems.
Technical areas of expertise
CNRS-LAAS: High resolution electron beam lithography, babrication of quantum wires and dots, Single Electron devices, Nanomagnetism, emerging nanofabrication methods, NanoElectroMechanicalSystems (NEMS), Self-Assembly, Nanorobotics and Nanomedicine.
